Thanks to eveRide for pointing out critical considerations that should be made when voting, in-context to the outdoor community that we all share.Hey guys, it's votin' time here in the USA... and this is IMPORTANT.

I need to apologize about some content in my last few videos. I try to be as non political as possible, partly because political mudslinging makes me enormously depressed, but mostly because of the divisiveness out there harms not only our country as a whole, but the dual sport community. Recently a few sarcastic quips about "environmentalists vs the thumpers" in my videos has caused offense. I meant no offense, but despite trying to be apolitical, in today's politically charged environment, I get messages like this far too often.

I consider myself an environmentalist in many ways. I do my best to pick up trash along the trails and try to leave areas better than I found them. I'd even consider myself a bit of a "tree hugger" except there aren't many trees where I ride, and the ones that do exist around here are REALLY painful to hug 😉 When we trash the trails we ride on, it puts fuel on the fire to close those trails. I love nature. I love being in nature. But I also love the vehicle that takes me farther into nature than I could get by any other means: the fossil-fuel-powered dual sport THUMPER! I believe nature should be open and accessible to us and future generations to use responsibly regardless of their chosen mode of transportation.

So in the most apolitical, non-partisan way possible, I'm encouraging you to do four things:
1. Join the AMA, BRC, and local riding groups/clubs that proactively protect our trails from closure.
2. Do your best to leave trails better than you found them. Clean up litter, stay on established trails... in short "don't crap where you eat."
3. VOTE. And as you study the candidates and policies in your areas, if you value your trails and your sport, carefully weigh your candidates history of voting for/against closing public lands.
4. Finally, if you know the positions of the candidates in your area regarding off road usage, please share those positions in your local dual sport groups, and let us know what you find in the comments below. If you're going to comment, please keep it civil. Occasionally I read comment sections of news articles and they make me sick. As a community of passionate riders, let's find ways to make our community stronger, not split it through political squabbles. I'm not going to moderate the comments on this post and I shouldn't have to. If somebody is offensive/divisive/looking for a fight, don't feed the trolls, just block them and move on.

Thanks and much love!

Getting "out of the confort" zone 😶😁 I am privileged to experience such things as flying so low in the Soca riverbed with the help of a true JET engine. This has been a technical project with lots of questions and pioneering, but the feeling of blazing so low over the water paid all for it! 😮☺ Full story link at www.redbull.com/si-sl/matjaz-klemencic-reaktivni-polet #GivesYouWings #RedBull @aviationdaily Moyes Delta Gliders #jet #engine #hanggliding #quote #quotes #inspiring #motivation #justbringit #dreambig #success #staypositive #noexcuses #active #focus #dedication #travel #traveling #envywear #vacation #instatravel #instago #instagood #trip #videooftheday #fun

There's a cool local company up for sale!BUSINESS FOR SALE: If you have noticed I haven’t posted anything in a while. Started working for another company 2 years ago and I have not had the time or the funds to do anything with the trailers. I have the company listed for sale for $2500. Would love to see someone do something with all the work I put in to Rover Trailers. What I am selling is the website,Instagram page, Facebook page, all of the blue prints and 3D Solidworks drawings to build the trailers, parts order list, price/profit break down sheet, logo, all of the pictures and videos taken of the trailer. The business does not come with a trailer unfortunately, the show trailer has already been sold. Let me know if you’re interested or have any questions. ... See MoreSee Less

SHARE!!! 😡 I’ve had my van broken into Harlow, UK, M11 J7 and everything stolen on the way to Erzberg. 2 Alta Motors bikes, gear, 2 new Honda generators, tools, spares all our camera gear, laptop etc etc. To say this has ruined my day and my Erzberg is an understatement. We were stopped for 20 mins for lunch. Please please share, I’m working with the police now but feel it needs more power, get on it please, i just want everything back. 🙏 😭😢😩

We've been getting a lot of questions lately on e-bikes. That's great, because they are awesome! We have the Specialized Turbo Levo and Kenevo in the store, as well as the new, amazing commuting maching the Turbo Vado. Along with these bikes come rules. There are 3 classifications of e-bike currently. Here is some language as to the deffinition of each:

(28.5) “Electrical assisted bicycle” means a vehicle having two or three wheels,
fully operable pedals, and an electric motor not exceeding seven hundred
fifty watts of power. Electrical assisted bicycles are further required to
conform to one of three classes as follows:
(a) “Class 1 electrical assisted bicycle” means an electrical assisted bicycle
equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the rider is
pedaling and that ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches a
speed of twenty miles per hour.
(b) “Class 2 electrical assisted bicycle” means an electrical assisted bicycle
equipped with a motor that provides assistance regardless of whether the
rider is pedaling but ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches
a speed of twenty miles per hour.
(c) “Class 3 electrical assisted bicycle” means an electrical assisted bicycle
equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the rider is
pedaling and that ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches a
speed of twenty-eight miles per hour.

So, where can you legally ride an e-bike? Well, foruntately, the list of where you CAN legally ride is much larger than where you cannot. Currently, and federally managed public trail that is designated as non-motorized is off limits. That means places like Lunch Loop, Kokopelli, 18rd, etc. are a no go. However, that is a tiny fraction of your public land. Any trail that is open to motorcycles, atv's or jeep roads is open to e-bikes. And the great thing is, though many of these trails would not be attractive on a normal bike, they are almost all incredibly fun on an e-bike. The Specialized Turbo Levo and Kenevo are absolutely incredible adventuring and exploring machines. They will take you places you never knew existed, and never dreamed you could go. After 2 years of some of the best rides of my life on a Turbo Levo, I can say unequivocally that my e-bike is my favorite and if I had to give them all up except for 1, I'd keep my e-bike. No question. I can also say that, even with the current rules prohibiting use on non motorized trails, in no way has this detracted from my enjoyment of these incredible machines. In fact, it's enhanced it by forcing me to think outside the box in terms of where to ride, what can be ridden, and most importantly, what is FUN to ride. It's a brave new world of unexplored epic riding right at your fingertips - made possible by these machines.

If you are out enjoying your e-bike, please be respectful and follow the current rules. (If you dont' know the rules, educate yourself, or call us and we can help). And if you're looking for recommendations on where to go, by all means ask us, we'd love to help! Happy Trails!
