Chris CastleOur founder has always been obsessed by two-wheels. In 1993, Chris got hooked on Mountain Bikes when he first rode a Specialized Rock Hopper. While living in Germany in the early 90s, Chris also fell in love with the BMW GS series of dual-sport motorcycles. Ever since, Chris has been in pursuit of great single track.
Chris and his wife Jayme are both Texas natives, but a few years back, they sold their house, bought an RV, hit the road, and traveled throughout the United States to chart out the best single track adventures. Chris and Jayme settled in St. George, Utah, as it was the perfect base camp.
2018 brought a new adventure with the birth of their daughter, Fiona. Chris can’t wait to get her on two wheels too!
Jayme keeps Advenduro running as smoothly as a new drive train! Jayme helps coordinate our trips, logistics with our partners, and trail support. When Jayme’s not running the Advenduro show, she’s trying to keep up with our toddler Fiona, aka “Baby Badger”.
Jeff began mountain biking in 1996 at the ripe age of 11 years old. He went on to race mountain bikes quite often through his college years with the CalPoly Wheelmen, falling in love with downhill, dual slalom, and enduro. Jeff upgraded to the pro class in 2005, and when enduro became a “thing” in North America, he quickly found a niche he loved. By 2012, he was a consistent podium contender in most west coast enduro races. Retiring from racing at the end of the 2016 season, Jeff now focuses heavily on making riding videos. While filming and editing, Jeff began to notice the intricacies of what makes certain moves successful, and this inspired him to take a Bicycle Instructor Certification Program course in December 2018. Today you can follow him on his Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/jeffkendallweed/), YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/c/JeffKendallWeed), Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/jeffkendallweedMTB/), and website (http://jeffkendallweed.com/).
TyI had a great time at the clinic and it was ran exceptionally well by Chris and Jeff. All of the “parking lot” drills we worked on, from breaking to balance and pivoting were great and I try to use them as much as I can. The manual and wheelie was the main part of the clinic and I learned a lot about body position and finding the right balance spot. The hands on feedback from Jeff was something you can’t get from watching YouTube videos online. He is such an incredible rider and being able to ride with him for the couple of days was inspirational. I definitely saw growth just in the two day clinic and I continue to grow using the skills I was taught at the clinic. Thanks Advenduro Tours!
