Chris CastleOur founder has always been obsessed by two-wheels. In 1993, Chris got hooked on Mountain Bikes when he first rode a Specialized Rock Hopper. While living in Germany in the early 90s, Chris also fell in love with the BMW GS series of dual-sport motorcycles. Ever since, Chris has been in pursuit of great single track.
Chris and his wife Jayme are both Texas natives, but a few years back, they sold their house, bought an RV, hit the road, and traveled throughout the United States to chart out the best single track adventures. Chris and Jayme settled in St. George, Utah, as it was the perfect base camp.
When Chris isn’t on the trail for Advenduro, you can find him flying his airplane across the country helping his customers design the world’s next greatest products.
Joel SearsJoel has been riding and racing multiple disciplines of bikes for over 20 years. This passion has taken him all over the United States seeking the best trails for Enduro and Downhill riding. Based out of Angel Fire New Mexico, his backyard runs are often in the Bike Park. Joel is a PMBI Level 1 Instructor for guiding and coaching.
Tanner KnightEver since Tanner’s uncle bought him his first mountain bike for Christmas in 1993 (a Diamondback Sorrento), he’s been searching for the hairiest, gnarliest terrain and pointing his front wheel at it. When the bike trails in his native lands of the Adirondacks in upstate NY were severely lacking, he set out to build his own, a passion which he holds to this day. His lust for single track eventually took him and his wife Sarah out west to Salt Lake City, where the lush forested trails of Park City, and the jagged desert trails of Moab and Virgin are all within a day’s trip.
Tanner is also handy with a wrench and allen key after 20+ years of keeping mountain and road bikes up and running. If you have a mechanical disaster out on the trail, Tanner can and will find a way to keep your two wheels rolling.
Tanner considers Salt Lake City home, but takes every opportunity to explore the wilderness with his wife and dog, Jack, and always manages to find somewhere new.
